ISM Code and revised guidelines on implementation. The 1994 Amendments ot SOLAS 74 introduced a new chapter IX, the International Safety Management Code. This chapter has been amended by MSC.99(73) and entered into force July 2002. It will be applicable to wider range of cargo ships and mobile offshore drilling units (2003 Edition).
